COMMUNITY & TECHNICAL COLLEGES

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

This page provides skill standards information to assist community and technical college educators to understand what skill standards are, how to use them in instructional programs, and how to receive recognition for skill standards usage. A list of recognized programs that are teaching and assessing their students on the basis of standards is also provided, including the required program recognition matrix.

WORKSHOPS

Staff is available to deliver a skill standards usage workshop to any college. The workshop guides users through the suggested skill standards integration process presented in our User’s Guide below and reviews the requirements for program recognition application. Contact the office at (512) 936-8100 to arrange a workshop presentation.
